Role of the Retailer:
In dropshipping, you act as a retailer. However, you don’t stock or own the products you sell. Instead, you partner with a supplier or manufacturer who handles inventory and shipping.
Revenue Generation:
You make a profit by selling products at a higher price than the cost charged by the supplier. The difference between the two prices is your profit margin.
Inventory and Shipping:
The supplier is responsible for maintaining inventory and shipping products directly to the customers. You, as the retailer, are not involved in the physical handling of the products.
